Cecil Hills - night works and road closure on Feodore Drive

We’ll be working at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Feodore Drive to remove the borehead from the tunnelling machine that has been installing a new water pipe below Lancaster Avenue.

To minimise the impact to road users during the week, we’ll complete this work during one night shift between Friday 11 June and Wednesday 16 June 2021, weather permitting. We will not work Sundays or public holidays.

Our work hours at this intersection will be from 10 pm to 4:30 am. Work will include digging in the road to remove a tunnelling borehead and temporary restoration of impacted areas.

During these extended hours, we’ll be accessing our site compound in Pye Hill Reserve via Leopold Place for deliveries and to collect materials to transport to the worksite.

During our night works, we’ll need to temporarily close Feodore Drive between Lancaster Avenue and Clementina Circuit to remove the tunnelling borehead. Local access will be maintained to properties within this road closure, however there may be some delays. A detour will be in place via Spencer Road and Feodore Drive.

As we work at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Feodore Drive, a section of the footpath around Doujon Lake (between Amelia Close and Feodore Drive) will be closed.

Traffic controllers will be in place to safely assist vehicles and pedestrians around our work areas.
