    Sydney Water is planning to naturalise and revegetate a section of creek, near Meurants Lane, next to parts of Keturah Close and Galea Drive and the area at the end of Marie Avenue, Glenwood.

    We are transforming a section of Powells Creek into a natural waterway. We are doing this by removing the old concrete banks and replacing them with gently sloping banks made from sandstone and native plants. We expect to finish this work by late 2018.

    We are planning to upgrade the facilities at our North Head Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The benefits of the project include better quality biosolids (External link)and reduced odour from truck movements through Manly.

    We are separating the combined wastewater and stormwater systems in Woolloomooloo, Darlinghurst and Potts Point. When we finish, these areas will have new pipes, the storm water flowing into Woolloomooloo Bay will be cleaner and odours significantly reduced.
