Community Survey Feedback Summary

We received 75 responses for Johnstons Creek. Eighty-one per cent (81%) of respondents were supportive of naturalisation. The main suggestions given for improving Johnstons Creek were:

  • naturalisation (48),
  • increase walking/cycle paths (9), and
  • improve aesthetics (7).

There was a wide range of feedback given for the potential naturalisation of Johnstons Creek. The most popular were: establish habitats (4), introduce native plants (4) and ensure consultation with local bush care and community groups (3).

Three percent of respondents were against the concept of naturalisation with two reasons. The first was that naturalisation is not required (2) and the second reason had concerns regarding the validity of the survey (1).

Following the completion of consultation we will prepare a report detailing the feedback we received from the community survey and on the concept designs.
