Working with our neighbours

We're well into the construction phase of this project. Installation of the cofferdam is complete! This, along with our de-watering pumps, allows workers to work safely in a tidal waterway.

We have been demolishing the base of the creek and laying down the new concrete.

Stages of the concrete renewal process.

Next, we'll start preparing the wall on the side of Sheralee Tourist Caravan Park for renewal. To do this, we will clean it using a water blaster, then apply sprayed concrete to strengthen and renew the wall!

Working closely with our neighbours at the caravan park, we’ve come up with ways to protect the residents from spray during these activities.

On site with the General Manager of Sheralee Tourist Caravan Park.

It’s important we work closely with the surrounding community and get their feedback so we can reduce disruption as best as we can while we transform this old waterway into a fresh, community-friendly environment!
