Powells Creek

We have transformed a section of Powells Creek into a natural waterway. We've done this by removing the old concrete banks and replacing them with gently sloping banks made from sandstone and native plants. We have now finished our work at Powells Creek, and are looking forward to our community open day.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Community open day! It was a fantastic day and we appreciate the opportunity to celebrate these works with you.

This transformation will help to create a better environment for everyone to enjoy. The new, natural creek banks will provide a habitat for birds and other native wildlife. We will also build seats, a boardwalk and shared paths for the community to enjoy.
