Forbes Street Precinct separation work finished

Refresh Woolloomooloo
Sydney Water’s contractor, Diona, have successfully finished separating the combined wastewater stormwater system in the Forbes Street Precinct. We understand that there has been some disruptions during this work and we appreciate your patience. This work was part Refresh Woolloomooloo and the benefits include:
- new pipes under your feet
- a separated system that will reduce blockages
- the stormwater flowing into Woolloomooloo Bay is cleaner and odours significantly reduced
- wastewater goes straight to Bondi Wastewater Treatment Plant and only stormwater flows into the Bay.

Work across the other three precincts is on track to finish by late 2019.

We’re working with City of Sydney to permanently restore footpaths and plant beds that have been impacted by our work. You will see contractors doing this work over the coming months.
We would like to thank you for your assistance and support in allowing our crews to work near your property.

Thank you letter to Forbes Street Precinct
