Upcoming extended hours work - July to August 2024

Our delivery partner Downer I BMD will be working extended work hours to carry out:

Coffer Dam install: installation of bags of blue metal to form a Coffer Dam that will isolate the work area from the existing equalisation basin from Monday 15 July to Tuesday 16 July 2024, weather permitting. A coffer dam is installed around instream work sites and construction zones in addition to standard erosion and sediment control measures, to protect against any impacts to water quality.

Wastewater Inlet structure cutover work: undertake inspection, cutover and testing of new inlet as part of the upgrade of the wastewater infrastructure from Wednesday 17 July until Saturday 17 August 2024, weather permitting.

Extended work hours will be from 12am to 7am, Monday to Friday/Saturday morning. Work needs to be undertaken at night when wastewater flows are low so it will not impact ongoing operations.

Please note this work is subject to weather conditions and may need to be rescheduled.

Work will include concrete sawing, use of a generator, vac-truck, lighting towers, a 55t and 130t crane. Lighting towers will be used and will be positioned in such a way that artificial light will not impact surrounding residents.

We know our work can be disruptive, so we’ll make every effort to reduce any impact this work may have on you.
