Bossley Park - installation of electrical cabinet and cabling at 2 Quarry Road

We successfully installed and connected a valve to the water main in the laneway behind 65 Mimosa Road, Bossley Park to control the pressure of the water as it enters homes.

We are now ready to return to site to install an electrical cabinet and connect the cabling. The cabinet will be installed on the 3 metre by 1.2 metre concrete foundation in the nature strip in front of 2 Quarry Road. We will start these works on Monday 18 July 2022 and will take up to one week to complete the installation, weather permitting. There may be 1-2 days during this week of work that we’ll need to open a pit lid in the laneway behind 65 Mimosa Road to carry out some activities.

This work will involve:

  • trenching in the nature strip outside number 2, 4 and 6 Quarry Road
  • installing instruments in the laneway at the rear of 65 Mimosa Road shops • installing the electrical cabinet and connecting the cables
  • restoring impacted areas.
