Bossley Park - laneway of Mimosa Road shops temporarily reopened for normal use

Sydney Water is working to expand our network to meet increased demands from growth in South West Sydney. In Bossley Park, we’ve installed a valve in the laneway at the rear of 65 Mimosa Road shops to control the pressure of water as it enters homes to ensure our existing and future customers continue to have reliable access to clean drinking water.

Upcoming work

The next step is to connect the new valve to the existing water main. There will also be a small electrical cabinet and pits installed on the council verge outside 2 Quarry Road, Bossley Park.

The final connection will be completed at night, but we will return to site a few days before this to prepare for the connection. The preparation work will occur during standard daytime hours and we will notify you again before our return.

While we are away from site, we have removed our equipment from the laneway and reopened to allow for normal use.
