Bradbury - oversized delivery for Campbelltown South Reservoir site

As part of the Prospect to Macarthur (ProMac) project we are building a new re-chlorination plant within our Campbelltown South Reservoir site at Bradbury to improve the management of water quality for our customers (please see map location).

The re-chlorination plant was being built off site and is now ready to be delivered. To do this, we will need to transport the unit outside of standard construction hours due to busy road conditions during the day. This will involve oversized construction vehicles driving into site between Wednesday 13 July and Friday 15 July from 11pm to 7am, weather permitting. The construction vehicles will park on site with the delivery until work can commence during our standard construction hours.

Should we not be able to undertake the delivery as scheduled, we will carry out this work between Wednesday 20 July and Friday 22 July as contingency.

Construction traffic and impacts

There will be an increase in construction traffic around Bradbury during our work. Residents can expect to see truck movements on Karrabul Road, St Johns Road, Akuna Avenue, Greengate Road and Merino Crescent.

The health and wellbeing of Sydney Water crews are our top priority. All crews are adhering to testing, social distancing, and mask wearing requirements.

We know our work can be disruptive, so we’ll make every effort to reduce any impact this work may have on you. Thank you for your cooperation during this essential work.
