Cecil Hills - Feodore Drive nightworks, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November
We will be working for two consecutive nights on Saturday 13 November 2021 and Sunday 14 November 2021, weather permitting, between the hours of 9 pm and 6 am on Feodore Drive between Inverness Circuit and Clementina Circuit (see map for location of work).
This work is required to repair a manhole attached to the new water main. We will need to complete this work at night to avoid disruption to local bus services and peak traffic volumes experienced during the day.
Traffic changes
To create a safe zone for workers, there will be a temporary road closure in place during our work hours only. A detour will be in place via Clementina Circuit. Traffic controllers will safely assist vehicles and pedestrians around our work area. Local access will be maintained for residents during our working hours, however you may experience some delays.
This work will involve:
- using our temporary works compound located on Lancaster Avenue opposite the Cecil Hills shopping centre
- digging in the road way with an excavator and hand tools
- repairing a manhole attached to the new pipeline
- restoring the impacted area.
