Cecil Hills - returning to Prince Close to complete valve replacement. No road closures.

In Cecil Hills, we installed 1.95km of new water main. As part of this work, we installed a valve in the grass verge along Prince Close in 2021 to control water flow across the Sydney Water network. In February 2023, we completed critical maintenance work on the valve. Investigation work determined that the valve will need to be replaced.

Upcoming work

From Monday 1 May 2023, we will return to the same location to complete a full replacement of the valve. This work will take up to two weeks to complete, followed by a further one week of testing and commissioning, weather permitting. Please see map overleaf for the location of work.

There will be no interruptions to your driveway access or water service during this work.

Traffic changes

As we complete this work, traffic control will be used to assist with the management of traffic, however no road closures are planned along Prince Close. A small crew of workers will park on the grass verge off the corner of Prince Close and Sandringham Drive. Refer to map for location of parking.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this essential work.
