Cecil Hills - critical valve maintenance works in grass verge along Prince Close

In Cecil Hills, we installed 1.95km of new water main to ensure our existing and future customers continue to have reliable access to clean drinking water. As part of this work, we previously installed a valve in the grass verge along Prince Close to control water flow across the Sydney Water network.

Upcoming work

We need to return to the area to complete critical maintenance work on the valve from Monday 6 February 2023. The work will take between five to fourteen days to complete, weather permitting. Please see map for the location of work. There will be no interruptions to your water service during this work.

This work will involve:

  • investigation
  • installation of fencing
  • excavation of the grass verge
  • minor repairs and installation of Sydney Water assets
  • restoration of the impacted areas.

Traffic changes

As we complete this work, there will be no traffic impacts or road closures along Prince Close. A small crew of workers will park on the grass verge off the corner of Prince Close and Sandringham Drive. Please see map overleaf for parking location.

Pedestrians are advised to observe all project signage directions during construction.
