Cecil Hills - construction begins in Balmoral Circuit

Construction of the 1.95km of new water main through Cecil Hills is progressing and from Thursday 11 March 2021, we will be starting construction in Balmoral Circuit, which will be completed in two stages:

  1. from Mey Close to Angela Street
  2. from Angela Street to Lancaster Avenue

Work will include tree trimming and removal, digging in the grass reserve, footpath and road, installing the new pipe, connecting the new pipe to the existing network and restoring the impacted areas.

Working hours

Our working hours will be from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. We will not work on Sundays or public holidays.

Traffic changes

There will be a road closure of Balmoral Circuit as we work in each section (see map below). Detours will be in place and traffic controllers will assist pedestrians and vehicles. Resident access will be maintained, however there may be some delays.
