Kemps Creek - Western Road closed between Cross St & Elizabeth Dr

We have now completed installation of assets on Cross Street in front of Kemps Creek Public School and Christadelphian Heritage College and traffic flows as per usual along Cross St.

We will return to Western Road to continue installation of the pipeline between Cross Street and Elizabeth Drive, which will require a full closure of Western Road between Cross St & Elizabeth Drive during the daytime.

This work will take about 3 weeks, starting Monday 19 July, weather permitting.

Traffic changes

A section of Western Road between Cross Street and Elizabeth Drive will be closed to traffic during our work hours. A detour will be in place via Elizabeth Drive, Devonshire Road and Cross Street. Please see map below.

Local access to Overett Avenue will be maintained, however there may be some delays. Please allow extra time in planning your journey.

We will open one lane to traffic outside of our work hours on a stop-go arrangement using temporary traffic lights.

Once this work is complete we will open one lane for traffic while we are installing valves before we complete this work. We will post another update on this closer to the time.
