Kemps Creek - Western Road power pole installation
In Kemps Creek, we are installing 4.5 km of new water main to ensure our existing and future customers continue to have reliable access to clean drinking water.
Upcoming work
We will return to Western Road to install a new power pole which will eventually provide power to the recently installed pressure reduction valve. The work will take place on Tuesday 18 January 2022, weather permitting. There will be no interruption to your power supply during this work.
This work will involve
- changes in local traffic
- using a pole borer to dig a hole in the road verge
- using a crane to lift the pole into place
- restoring the impacted area.
Traffic changes
During the works there will be changes to traffic conditions on Western Road. A lane closure and traffic control will be in place to safely assist motorists around our work area. Please see map for the location of work.
Our work hours
- 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday
- 8 am to 1 pm Saturday
