Milstone Alert: 18km of pipeline construction complete
Sydney Water has completed 18 kilometres pipeline in five sections between Prospect South and Macarthur as part of its investment in new infrastructure that will support growth areas in Western and South Western Sydney.
The supply area for this pipeline includes Liverpool LGA, the South West Growth Area and the Western Sydney Aerotropolis including the suburbs Cecil Hills, Cecil Park and Kemps Creek.
The last connection was made at a ceremonial valve turn in the Australian Botanic Gardens at Mt Annan on Tuesday 6th September.
The 18km pipeline installation has been made possible in collaboration with Delivery Partner ACCIONA and principal contractors Killard Infrastructure, Diona, Athassel Civil,Ferrycarrig Construction, Vaughn Civil and Comdain Infrastructure.
