Oran Park - next stage of construction to commence at Oran Park Reservoirs site from Monday 27 March 2023
As part of the Prospect to Macarthur (ProMac) program we are building two new water reservoirs in Oran Park to provide drinking water services for 84,000 new homes in the South West Growth Area, Western Sydney Aerotropolis Growth Area, Liverpool CBD and Menangle Park.
Upcoming work
The contractor has completed the installation of all civil, electrical and underground pipe works at the Oran Park Reservoir site in preparation for the next stage of construction.
The next contractor plans to start establishing site facilities to commence ground improvement works from Monday 27 March 2023, weather permitting (refer to map overleaf for location of work).
This work will involve:
- establishing a site compound and storage areas
- using earth moving machinery
- concrete works
- drilling and pouring concrete piles below ground level
- transporting natural material using heavy vehicles
- restoring the impacted area.
Construction traffic and impacts
Heavy vehicles will continue to enter and exit the site via two access points located off Dick Johnson Drive and The Northern Road (refer to map for location of work).
Our work hours
- 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday
- 8 am to 1 pm Saturday. We will not work on Sundays or public holidays.
We may need to work outside of our standard hours from time to time, but we will notify you before this occurs.
