Beverley Park
Wastewater Upgrade for the Kogarah Road Submain
Wyuna Street, Lacey Street, Stubbs Street, Beverley Park
UPDATE: We're taking a two-week break over the summer holidays. We return to work on Monday 8 January, 2024. We have a few more things to finish before we start restoration and demobilise off site. You'll be notified with more detail in the new year.
Sydney Water will be completing repairs on the wastewater network and some maintenance holes in Kogarah and Beverley Park.
We completed investigation work in November 2022 and we are now ready to start construction. This work will make sure the hundred-year-old wastewater pipe will continue to work for many years into the future.
In Beverley Park, we’ll be repairing approximately 270 metres of wastewater pipe and eight maintenance holes.
We’ll carry out inspections on the wastewater network and maintenance holes before we start construction work.
Our construction work will include:
cleaning out and relining 270 metres of the underground wastewater system
installing and replacing two maintenance holes.
Assets (maintenance holes) located within private properties will need to be accessed during this work. These residents will be contacted directly to arrange safe access for the work and restoration once we have completed the relining activities.
Project timing: October 2023 to December 2023
