Iron Cove Creek (Dobroyd Canal)

We are investigating a section of Iron Cove Creek, also known as Dobroyd Canal, as it is in need of repair. This work will help maintain the stormwater system and protect the local environment.

We are looking at repairing the creek by replacing the concrete walls with natural looking banks made of rocks and native plants. This method is called naturalisation and has been used in waterways across Sydney to improve their health and character.
