Key Dates

First we need to set up our compound area within Whiteoak Reserve. 

Work will involve:

• setting up ATF fencing within Whiteoak Reserve to surround and secure the work area
• using a crane to set up our site sheds and worker amenities
• laying down road base along the truck route 
• installing time lapse cameras to record our progress from start to finish (cameras will not face into any surrounding properties)

The landscaping and restoration plan is still being developed in consultation with Bayside Council. We will post the plan on this page once it has been finalised.

We expect to complete the work in late 2024. As you may be aware, wet weather can impact our ability to work, especially within a creek. 

We will keep the community updated on our timeline. We will also be working on Saturdays to get the work done as quickly and safely as we can.

  We are going to shutdown the worksite for two weeks over the holiday period.

We'll meet at St george Netball Courts and take a stroll down to the pedestrian bridge to look at what we've completed so far.

We're replacing the pedestrian bridge with a brand new one! This  will take a month or so to complete. The bridge will be back and open for use in the new year. 

We'll stop work and securely shutdown the site while we take a break in the summer holidays.
We'll start back again on Monday 8 January 2024.
