Construction work starts at the Caretaker's Cottage

New amenities at Parsley Bay by mid 2025

Sydney Water has awarded the contract to construct the new amenities at the Caretaker’s Cottage to Gartner Rose, an experienced construction company with expertise in renovating heritage buildings. Gartner Rose is coordinating construction work and site access with the Parsley Bay pump station main work contractor Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure (ACI) to minimise our impacts to the surrounding community. Both Delivery Partners will be working together to schedule heavy vehicle movements to and from the site, minimise worker parking in local streets, minimise changes to pedestrian access and combine construction progress update for the local community.

Although actual construction work is planned to start later, the site establishment will commence week starting Monday 14 October 2024. The new amenities building is expected to be completed in mid-2025, weather permitting.
