September 2024 community event in Parsley Bay

Thanks for meeting us on Saturday September 7, 2024.

On a beautiful Spring Day in Parsley Bay, we met community members at the Parsley Bay Reserve to update everyone on our construction progress.

Thanks to everyone who attended and asked us questions about the purpose of the project, our construction schedule and how we will minimise construction impact to the community.

We will continue to meet with the community throughout the construction period and provide updates on our progress to build the new pump station and new amenities on the ground floor of the Caretaker’s Cottage. Temporary amenities will be available adjacent to the kiosk before the old amenities block is demolished.

Throughout construction visitors will continue to have access via to facilities at Parsley Bay including the children’s playground, park and beach. Access to Parsley Bay will be maintained via Horler Avenue, Fitzwilliam Road, The Crescent and the additional northern access path on Hopetoun Avenue.
