Upcoming work on Carlisle Street | Rose Bay | March 2025

At the beginning of February 2025, drilling work started for the new 1.8km wastewater pipeline from the Parsley Bay Reserve car park to Carlisle Street, Rose Bay. The underground drill will reach the surface at Carlisle Street in the coming weeks with the remainder of the pipeline alignment on Carlisle Street to be trenched where it will connect with the existing wastewater network that goes to the Bondi WRRF.

From Monday 31 March 2025 we will be starting work to dig the drill exit pit, complete trenching work, and then install the new pipes from Carlisle Street to Parsley Bay. For the safety of pedestrians, motorists and the community, some changes to traffic and parking are required on Carlisle Street and the surrounding area while this work is being completed. The work will be completed over 4 stages throughout the next 12 months. Please click here to view the Carlisle Street community notification for Stages 1 and 2.
