Members of the ProMac community engagement team inspecting the property boundary of the Harrington Park Pumping Station site. The construction and community teams have maintained a proactive approach in keeping the community informed throughout all stages of work. Site specific mitigation measures have been implemented to reduce impacts on nearby residents and local community groups. These include: • Installation of a temporary noise wall – this is 80m long and 3m high and will assist to minimise noise and visual impacts from construction activities • Installation of a sprinkler system around the perimeter of the internal road to prevent, reduce and control dust • Installation of a cattle grid at exit points to prevent mud tracking.
