Post-demolition of Currans Hill Reservoir.
The tank stood 20.4 metres high and was constructed of 180 panels. A 100-tonne and 50-tonne crane were used to dismantle the existing reservoir panel by panel, from top to bottom.
Stage 2 of the project will commence later in the year and is expected to be completed by early 2023. The new fully welded steel reservoir will stand at the same height as the old reservoir.
