Sydney Water has submitted its new Development Servicing Plan (DSP) for Rouse Hill and Hoxton Park for registration with the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART).

The DSPs set out infrastructure contributions covering the cost of recycled water services for developments in the Rouse Hill and Hoxton Park areas. The contributions are set according to a method determined by IPART.

We review the contributions at least once every five years to ensure they reflect the latest development and cost information.

We expect the new pricing will be implemented within the next four weeks and will provide an update when the new DSPs come into effect.

If you have any questions about this process, or the Draft plans please email developercharges@sydneywater.com.au.

Public exhibition has been delayed on the proposed new developer charges for recycled water services in the Rouse Hill and Hoxton Park areas.

The delay is pending the finalisation of some technical aspects of the Development Servicing Plan with the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART). Sydney Water is actively working with IPART to finalise these as soon as possible to ensure all aspects of the Plan are complete ahead of exhibition.

The Plan, which details the prices and how we arrive at them, was set to be made public on Monday, 17 May 2021, and run for 30 working days.

Sydney Water will advise the new 30-day period as soon as possible. We will also post it on our website on this page.
