Prospect South to Macarthur (ProMac)

We will start setting up site facilities for the pipeline construction between between the Narellan South Reservoir and Sugarloaf Pump Station in Menangle Park on Tuesdat 3 May 2021. This will include clearing trees and removing vegetation within 20 metres of our work area. We will also do some investigations and surveying works along the alignment around that time.

Construction of the pipeline is planned to finished in June 2022 - weather permitting.

Our working hours are 7 am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.

We will use the school holidays to install a section of the pipeline in front of Kemps Creek Public School and Christadelphian Heritage College on Cross Street to minimise impact on school traffic.

We will extend our working hours for this section of the pipeline. Our work hour will be 7 am to 8pm Monday - Sunday (excluding Public Holidays), starting Tuesday 6 April until Monday 19 April 2021 (weather permitting).

Standard working hours will be re-introduced for the construction of the pipeline along Cross Street towards Western Road.

There will be changes to local traffic during the construction. A section of Cross Street between Devonshire Road and the end of the school zone will be closed to traffic. A detour will be in place via Devonshire Road, Exeter Road and Western Road. Please follow traffic controllers direction to safely navigate around the work site. Local access will be maintained, but there may be some delays.

Once the construction near the school is completed, we will progressively close sections of Cross Street between Devonshire Road and Western Road.

When school returns, there will be a U - Turn facility near the end of the school zone on Cross Street to provide a safe drop-off / pick up point for children.

We are making great progress on the upgrades to Liverpool Reservoir, where we are building a new pumping station, a new reservoir tank and new pipelines to deliver drinking water services to over 84,000 homes in South West Sydney.

We are trying to complete the project as soon as possible, so we will be extending our working hours from on Saturdays (8am - 5pm), starting Saturday 10 April 2020 until early 2022.

We know our work can be disruptive so we will make any effort to reduce impacts to the community by doing noisier work during our standard hours of work during the week and switching off machinery when not in use.

We have chosen rotary bored piling because it produces lower vibrations than other piling methods, but you may notice some vibrations as piling works continue.

We are building a new re-chlorination plant within the Campbelltown South Reservoir site off Karrabul Road, Bradbury. The new plant will improve the management of water quality in the region.

The re-chlorination plant will be built next to the Campbelltown South Reservoir in Bradbury. One building will be constructed, covering an area of approximately 16 metres by 3.5 metres x 3.5 metres high. This new plant will automate the dosing and monitoring of chlorine into the adjacent reservoirs, which gives Sydney Water better control over water quality for its customers.

The building will be constructed offsite and delivered as a complete unit to be installed onsite. Construction of the new facility will start later in the year. The building will be painted green to help it blend in with its surroundings. A new access road will be built between the existing site access gate and the tanker receiving area.

Investigation works will start in early April within the Reservoir site and along Karrabul Road, Greengate Road and Merino Crescent.

Residents will see increased construction traffic around the Bradbury area, particularly along:

• Karrabul Road

• Greengate Road

We are offering property condition surveys to households directly adjacent to the plant works in the coming weeks. An inspector would take a photographic record of in interior and exterior of your home. Once you have received your letter of offer, contact the ProMac community team to arrange your appointment.

An assessment of the equipment required to construct the re-chlorination plant has been completed and limits set for vibration to ensure that any vibration generated is below levels that could cause structural damage to a home.

Due to forecast wet weather, the work to install a tunnelling pit at the intersection of Feodore Drive and Lancaster Avenue has been re-scheduled to next weekend, weather permitting.

We will install a section of the pipeline between the reserve off Lancaster Avenue and Feodore Drive by tunnelling underground. This work will include installing a receiver pit at the intersection of Feodore Drive and Lancaster Avenue.

Part of this work will be done at night and extend our working hours over one weekend to minimise impact to road users during the week.

Our work hours will be:

Friday 26 March: 7 pm to 7am (night shift)

Saturday 27 March: 7 am to 7 pm (extended day shift)

Sunday 28 March: 7 am to 7 pm (extended day shift)

The work will include investigation activities, saw cutting the road, digging a pit, pipe installation and temporary restoration of impacted areas. During these extended hours, we will also be accessing our compound in Pye Hill Reserve for deliveries and to collect materials to transport to the worksite. Trucks will access this compound along Prince Close

Traffic changes

Between 7pm Friday 26 March and 7pm Sunday 28 March, we need to close a section of the westbound lane along Feodore Drive near the intersection of Lancaster Avenue to install a pit. All traffic will share the use of the eastbound lane along Feodore Drive, managed by traffic controllers. Motorists may experience some delays. During this time, a section of the footpath around Doujon Lake (between Amelia Close and Feodore Drive) will be closed. Please see map below for locations of these closures.

Traffic controllers will be in place to safely assist vehicles and pedestrians around our work areas.

Road works on Sandringham Drive

Liverpool City Council is widening the road on Sandringham Drive. Enquiries about this work can be directed to Council’s customer service team on 1300 362 170

A section of the 4.5 km of new water main in Kemps Creek will need to be installed at the intersection of Cross Street and Devonshire Road.

We will do this work at night to minimise the impact to road users at this busy intersection.

Night work will take place for a period of up to 10 nights between Sunday 14 March and Thursday 8 April from 8 pm to 5 am.

Traffic changes

The intersection of Devonshire Road and Cross Street will be closed while we do this work. A detour will be in place via Elizabeth Drive, Western Road and Exeter Road. Traffic management will be in place to safely direct vehicles and pedestrians around the work site. Local access will be maintained, however there may be some delays. Following this, installation of the pipeline will continue west along Cross Street in front of Kemps Creek Public School and Christadelphian Heritage College. We will complete this work during the school holidays to minimise the impact to school traffic.

Construction of the 1.95km of new water main through Cecil Hills is progressing and from Thursday 11 March 2021, we will be starting construction in Balmoral Circuit, which will be completed in two stages:

1. from Mey Close to Angela Street
2. from Angela Street to Lancaster Avenue

Work will include tree trimming and removal, digging in the grass reserve, footpath and road, installing the new pipe, connecting the new pipe to the existing network and restoring the impacted areas.

Working hours

Our working hours will be from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. We will not work on Sundays or public holidays.

Traffic changes

There will be a road closure of Balmoral Circuit as we work in each section (see map below). Detours will be in place and traffic controllers will assist pedestrians and vehicles. Resident access will be maintained, however there may be some delays.

Before construction of the new pipeline starts in Lancaster Avenue and Balmoral Circuit, we will complete investigation work to confirm ground conditions and locate underground services, trim trees and set up a temporary site compound in the reserve off Lancaster Avenue.

This work will start on Thursday 18 February 2021 and is expected to take three weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Starting in mid-March 2021, we will be drilling underneath the road to construct the pipeline on Lancaster Avenue from Feodore Drive. This work will be finished by the end of May 2021, weather permitting.

There will be changed traffic conditions as we work in Lancaster Avenue and Balmoral Circuit. Local access will be maintained, however there may be some delays. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

The bus stop (ID 217144) on the western side of Lancaster Avenue will be temporarily relocated from Monday 8 March until late-June 2021. Signs will be placed at the impacted bus stop advising of the change.

Our work hours will be from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. We will not work on Sundays or public holidays.

We are building 1.95km of new water mains in Cecil Hills to ensure our existing and future customers continue to have reliable access to clean drinking water.

Construction activities in the reserve parallel to Clementina and Anjou Circuits will start on Wednesday 3 February 2021. This work will continue until July 2021, weather permitting.

There will be no access to this reserve as we complete our work. We will access our temporary site compounds via Battenberg Close and Benedict Close.

Our work hours will be 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. We will not work on public holidays

You will notice an increase in noise and vehicle movements along surrounding streets during this time and we apology for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are building a new drinking water pipeline from Range Road to Western Road via Cross Street to provide drinking water services for 84,000 new homes in the South West Growth Area and Western Sydney Aerotropolis Growth Area.

Construction of the new pipeline will commence at the eastern end of Cross Street working towards Western Road from Monday 18 January 2021 and will take around four months to complete.

We are building:

• 1.6km of pipework from Range Road to Cross Street

• 1.9km of pipework from Cross Street to Western Road

• 410m of pipework along Range Road to connect with Elizabeth Drive

• 590m of pipework connecting to Elizabeth Drive
